Daman Information Technology department aims to provide the highest quality technology-based services to support the growing business at Daman. The IT department ensures the sustainability and operational support to meet the business needs of Daman and endeavors to provide 24 x 7 operations.
Daman heath insurance is a program dedicated to the citizens of the UAE, which is called confidence. Daman consists of two branches which opened in Abu Dhabi and Alain. The team consists of professional who have local and international experience. Daman was established by the Abu Dhabi Government to provide a health insurance plan for expatriates and will have exclusive access to the public providers in Abu Dhabi. It was established in September 2005. The National Health Insurance Company - Daman is the first and largest specialized national health insurance company to be formed in the United Arab Emirates.
We choose National Health Insurance Company because Daman provides affordable quality healthcare solutions. Also because their vision to become the leading health insurer in the UAE by providing affordable solutions for their client’s immediate and healthcare needs and financial protection (when you have the insurance you can treat in private hospital as free also outside the UAE. Our aim is to explain and describe IT use at Daman company .
This also includes developing new application/infrastructure concepts, managing projects and coordinating operations, maintenance and installation new or updates to existing services in coordination with the support of our external partners
IT department is structured into three major areas:
- IT Services Team & support
- IT Infrastructure Team
- IT Applications Team
The Information Technology Department in the National Health Insurance Company uses Cluster Server for Data Base and Stand alone Server for different applications. Note: The Database for DAMAN includes more than two million clients.
